• The time has come to make the announcement--the daily updates of Preston Burns: Life Unlimited will come to close on Friday, May 16, 2008.

Working on this fictional blog has been quite an experience, and I appreciate all of the readers who joined me for the ride. All things have to come to an end, though, and the time has come for me to shift my focus to other projects.

I am not closing the door to the occasional special update or series of updates in the future. However, after May 16, I make no guarantees, and the story will, for all practical purposes, be complete.

• I will be traveling for the holidays, and then negotiating a big move, and so, as the site has been updated early through December 29. The posting schedule may be disrupted again at the end of 2007 and start of 2008, but rest assured, we will be back to business as usual before long. For the time being, I appreciate your understanding, and wish you all the best for the holidays.

• PRESTON BURNS: life unlimited is proud to announce its first music download. Starting Thursday, November 30, visitors will be able to download an MP3 of pop musician Mike Peek's "Alone," directly from the site, absolutely FREE of charge. This exciting new opportunity for visitors coincides with the in-blog debut of Preston's roommate's band, The Axis.
