Sunday, a Campus TV reporter interrupts Preston 's lunch with Chang to ask him about the election. Monday, Preston has Mike back on campus, to speak to the students about the election, asking them to vote for him. Preston questions if all of his efforts toward the election are worth it on Tuesday, and Emma reassures him that he's doing the right thing. Preston and friends hand out election handbills outside the Lighthouse Wednesday. Thursday, Teri talks to Preston as he's handing out advertisements, and says she'll be voting for him. Friday, the election results come in, showing that Preston has lost decisively. The guys talk Preston into going out to the bar on Saturday, where he gets drunk, then punching out Nick after he taunts him.
