On Sunday, Preston visits his grandmother to play cards. Monday, Preston goes job searching, picking up many applications, and getting one interview offer from the Golden Burger fast food restaurant in the mall. Preston talks to Veronica on the phone Tuesday, telling her about his job hunt, Veronica telling him about her internship. Preston has his Golden Burger interview on Wednesday, and is offered the job. Thursday, Preston has dinner with his father and another attorney from his father's office. Friday, Preston gets a call back from Stephon's clothing store, offering him an interview there, which he accepts. Saturday night, Preston , Matt, and their buddy Chang go out for drinks at The Palace, where Johnny Reed bullies them.
