On Sunday, Preston talks to his mother on the phone, who reaffirms that he should visit her in Florida . Monday, Preston and Matt play basketball and, among other things, talk about Matt moving on from Julie. Preston has an interview with Lois, the manager from Stephon's on Tuesday, at the end of which she offers him the job. Wednesday, Preston hangs out at Matt's house and talks about his coming trip to visit Veronica in Duncanville , a village located between the two of them. Preston talks to Veronica about the trip over the phone on Thursday. On Friday, Preston drives out. He and Veronica spend a long day together, shopping, eating and ending up at a musical festival in town, complete with fireworks. On Saturday, Preston talks on the phone with Dave, who talks about picking up guitar again and performing at open mics at home in preparation to form a band when he gets back to Taylor.
