Weekly Summary:
February 5-February 11, 2006

On Sunday, Preston works his usual shift at the Front Desk in his residence hall, and RA Barry tries to convince him to apply for the RA job. Monday, Preston interviews the Director of Volunteer Services about an upcoming volunteer fair. He thinks about bigger stories that may lie ahead and philosophizes about his interest in exploring all angles of every story, in hopes of uncovering something worthwhile. Tuesday, Preston goes to his Brit Lit class with Dave, where Dave succeeds in pushing his interpretation of the text at hand. Wednesday, Preston runs into Dave outside Smith Hall, where he chides him for his smoking. Dave talks about trying to find a date for a party that weekend. Thursday, Professor Jones assigns the guys a paper in which they have to connect the class texts to current events, which gets Preston thinking about his own life. On Friday, Preston gets a call from his brother Ray, who talks about his life out in LA, with his fiancée, Tracy . Ray has an internship in production and Tracy is trying to make it as an actress. Saturday, Preston , Emma and Dave go to an off campus party and do some drinking.
