Sunday, Jermaine encourages Preston to go ahead and make a move on Anastasia. Preston gives Anastasia a ride home Monday, and wants to make a move but can't bring himself to. Tuesday, Johnny Reed visits the store, making Preston uncomfortable, though he doesn't do anything directly threatening. Preston has dinner with his father Wednesday, and Dad pitches him the idea of going on a camping trip soon, before reminding him that he asked him to clean his home office. Dave calls on Thursday and sounds like he's high. On Friday, Preston sets about cleaning his dad's office, and finds newspaper clippings regarding his own birth, his brother's, and those of other relatives, but also an out of place one about Derek O'Malley. Saturday, Preston takes Anastasia out to The Palace, where they enjoy each other's company over drinks.
