On Sunday, Preston asks his grandmother about Derek and Katherine O'Malley, but she won't tell him anything, saying he should ask his father. Monday, Anastasia invites Preston to come to her house for dinner on Wednesday night. Preston searches for the O'Malleys on Google on Tuesday, but can't find anything. Preston has dinner at Anastasia's Wednesday, meeting her family. In the earliest hours of Thursday, Preston is still at Anastasia's talking about life, and, indirectly, the prospect of them pursuing a relationship, before Preston goes home. On Friday, Preston asks his father about the O'Malleys, but he won't share anything. Saturday, Preston talks to Matt on the phone, telling him about the O'Malley situation and learning that Julie wrote him a letter at camp.
