Sunday, Mike comes home from a road trip and complains about talking to Pepper and her saying she may not have time to see him soon. Monday night, Preston lets Dave back in the building late at night after a rehearsal with eh band as Dave informs him the band has its first gig on November 30. Hancock compliments Preston on his paper on Tuesday. Preston arrives in Florida for Thanksgiving Wednesday after taking his first flight in years. Before long his mother introduces him to her new fiancé, Avery. Preston has Thanksgiving dinner with his mother, aunt and Avery on Thursday, and is a bit sad thinking about his father being alone for the holiday. Preston 's mom sees him off at the airport Friday, and asks him to let her tell his father about Avery. Preston hangs out with the guys and thinks about the different places that define his life.
