Weekly Summary:
December 3-December 9, 2006

Veronica and Preston begin to kiss before Preston sees Chang, hurt, and goes to help him, angering Veronica and prompting her to kick him in the balls. Preston gets Chang to the hospital, but after Chang is taken in, Preston 's not allowed to see him. The shadows of the men who chased him before start coming after him; Preston runs, and Sam inadvertently gets in his way, before Teri helps him escape. Preston gets away in a car with Mike and Dave, who become his parents, then he's talking to Matt. The next thing he knows, he's in an alley with the shadows closing in on him. He sees many of the people in his life beyond the shadows, and ultimately charges through them, waking up. Preston wakes in the hospital Thursday, with Teri, then other friends, and he's confused, his memories jumbled and fading. It becomes clear to Preston that he was in a coma, and his father talks to him Friday, explaining he's been in town and wants Preston to come home with him; he also observes that Teri came to the hospital every day. The police follow up with Preston Saturday, but Preston can't remember any details to help them.
