Preston and Matt travel to Pennsylvania to celebrate New Year's with Teri Sunday, and Preston and Teri kiss at midnight . Monday, Preston , Teri and Matt wake up in the same room, Matt rousing them by passing gas. Tuesday, Preston and Matt talk about Teri, and then Julie, who Matt called after midnight on New Year's. Preston and Teri talk on the phone Wednesday, Preston having just gotten up, Teri having just gone running. Thursday, Preston tries to talk with Chang about layout for the newspaper, while waiting for Matt to show up to hang out. Friday, Preston and Matt sit around, trying to figure out who put Preston in a coma a month before. Preston and Matt meet at The Palace bar Saturday and run into Julie, who argues with Matt, before letting him know she and Johnny Reed have broken up.
