Sunday, Sam suggests that Preston not go to the police yet about Rod and Schmidt, trying to get the complete story for the paper first. The guys get a letter to the editor from Schmidt Monday, asking for support in his bid to get back into Taylor . Tuesday, Preston and Matt talk on the phone, talking about Preston 's upcoming interview with Schmidt, and Preston coming to New York for spring break. Preston and Teri are stuck in the office for Valentine's Day Wednesday, but go back to Teri's after, where she has a collection of photos of the two of them set up on display. Preston takes Teri out for a Valentine's dinner Thursday, stopping at the suite to pick up his flowers for her first. Preston interviews Schmidt on Friday, and by the end of it, Preston tells him he knows it was Rod who jumped him, to which Schmidt warns him to be careful about what he says. Preston stays in Saturday night, worried about keeping safe from Rod and Schmidt, as police are out looking for them.
