Weekly Summary:
June 17-June 23, 2007

Sunday, Preston runs into Allie at his grandmother's apartment building, and she says that she thinks Preston 's interested in Valerie, and that she was invited to ice cream the other night to make it a double date. Preston lets her know he's trying to get information for his father, and Allie doesn't have much to give, but indicates that she thinks something might be up as well. Monday, Preston talks to Matt about what Allie said, and they speculate about Matt's involvement in the murder, or what else might be going on with the group. On Tuesday, Preston's dad shows him photographs of the expected witnesses in the trial, and goes over the facts of the case, highlighting that Darryl left work early, went out for a milkshake, changed his mind and came home, leaving 15 minutes of his afternoon unaccounted for, right around the time of the murder. Preston and Valerie talk at the store Wednesday, and he gets her laughing, before she comes emotional, thinking about her father in jail. Preston sees Matt off as he leaves for camp Thursday , and warns Preston to be careful around Valerie and company. Preston and Valerie hang out at the store Friday, before Adam shows up, and invites Preston to a poker game the following Wednesday. Saturday, Preston talks to Teri on the phone, having to leave out some of the details of what's been going on with Valerie, while telling her other parts.
