Sunday morning, Preston tells his father about Valerie saying the gardener creeped her out, but that he watched her and her mother less after Darryl talked to him. Preston 's father practices his opening statement for Preston and Natalie Monday. Tuesday, the lawyers give their opening statements for the murder trial. Preston joins the Stephon's crew to watch the Fourth of July fireworks Wednesday, then receives a threatening phone call from someone with an abnormally deep voice. Thursday, Preston finds out that it was Adam who called him the night before, as a gag, using a voice modulator he uses for his radio show. Friday, Preston goes to Adam's place, where he has a soundproof booth for recording demos of his radio show, and explains that Darryl paid for all of his equipment. Preston talks to Anastasia at Stephon's Saturday, and she questions him about seeing him with Valerie in the media.
