Weekly Summary:

Preston talks to his grandmother about the trial on Sunday. Monday, in the very early morning, Valerie shows up at Preston 's house and tells him she killed her mother. Preston tells his father Valerie's story of going along with Adam's scheme to kidnap her mother for a ransom, and her accidentally shooting her mother, after which his father decides he'll have to tell Darryl. Preston and his father tell Darryl about what Valerie did, Wednedsay and he's reluctant to believe it at first, before accepting it. Thursday, Darryl says he'll take the manslaughter plea to end the case and protect Valerie. Friday, Preston goes to the Crystal Castle, thinking about going in to see Valerie, but disgusted with what she's done, and that she didn't come forward sooner. Preston talks to Teri Saturday, and the conversation doesn't go well as she doesn't take Darryl going to prison as hard as Preston .
