On Sunday, Preston finds Teri and Cameron playing ping pong in the Smith main lounge, each very competitive about it. Dave stops in the office Monday, suggesting a story about The Spaniard—an urban legend about a man who stands at the side of the road with a shotgun, waiting for the driver that ran over his wife to return so he can exact revenge. Rich recounts the story of The Spaniard to Gabby Tuesday, as Preston insists it couldn't be true, and the others grow more interested. Wednesday, Preston observes that Rich's section is riddled with errors, and that Gabby didn't do much about it, suggesting they don't need to uphold the same standards for a website as they would for the print newspaper. Preston catches up with Sam over the phone Thursday, beginning to explain what happened to The Window. Teri has a party Friday, and Preston talks about his conversation with Sam before Nick interrupts them. Saturday, Preston joins Teri at a dinner in recognition of Dorothy, the retiring administrative assistant for SA.
